Hello friends, it's a new month which means it's once again time
for our newest challenge at Love Those Pretty Papers
with an OPTIONAL theme of Christmas but you can use any pretty
papers you want as long as they are mainly the focus!
If you are familiar with Mintay papers then you know how
beautiful they are and several papers within the pad can easily make
'stand alone' cards just by adding the paper a few small details.
The paper I used is from their Winterland pad.
A few Lawn Fawn Stitched Snowflakes were added that I topped with some sparkle by adding
some scrapbookdotcom silver glitter 'pops of color'.
The sentiment is Hero Arts.
For my anything goes card, I pulled an old pad out that I am trying to use up
from My Minds Eye Fine and Dandy Girl (2011).
I popped up (slightly) a piece of white card stock then cut a piece 4"x3"
designer paper for the front. I die cut a Freida Leaf
(not sure of the maker as it was a die given to me from a friend,
maybe Memory Box ?)
The sentiment was created on my Betterpress using the
Always and Forever plates and dies.
Just a simple card but I like it and a great way to use up some of those
'old' papers!

I hope you are enjoying our newest challenge, I know I sure am
as it 'forces' us to get out those pretty papers
and actually not hoard them but USE them!!

Both cards are gorgeous ... LOVE that holiday Mintay pad! Beautifully done!
Oooh, pretty Mintay! I'm still working with the first Mintay Christmas pad I bought, sheesh. I need to get a move on. Love how you've used the white space. Your second card -- wow -- great way to use the patterned piece -- a wide white border and white die (yes, Memory Box). My Mind's Eye are some of my favorite oldie papers. I need to get to work!
