Squishy Bear Hugs

Hello friends, at Double D we have a theme geared just towards the kiddos,
it is KIDS CARDS.
I think we all can use a nice handy supply of kids cards, I know I can
and we have a cute kids mood board for inspiration!

I have always been a fan of Winnie The Pooh, in fact my first born son's
room was all done in Pooh when Sears & Roebuck used to carry all the pooh 'stuff'!

For my background I used a wide Altenew washi tape thinking all those
primary colors reminded me of kids!
The pooh is a color page I saved from the internet off Pinterest and sized it
for the front of my card and colored it in with Copics..
I actually saved a dozen different Pooh images for later use,
the sentiment is Waffle Flower Inside Sentiment Hugs.
The scalloped oval is Tutti Designs.  I also used glitter pens on the flower centers and the butterfly edge.

Come and have some 'kiddie' fun with us at Double D!

The most adorable Pooh image! That background blocked washi is awesome. Fun, bright colors and perfect for this theme. I've never seen any like this before and I have a bazillion washi tapes. Everyone loves Pooh and friends. He is very trendy right now too. Our oldest daughter's nursery was Winnie the Pooh also. I hand painted him on the crib and all of his friends on the nursery wall. He is a classic for sure!

Absolutely adorable! Pooh is one of my favorite characters and this is such a sweet image. That washi tape is wide indeed! Spot on with the primary colors. I actually don't have any little ones in my family, but I love making kids' cards and can always find someone to give them to!

Oh Pooh is such a classic for sure, he is wonderful in every way! Loving your colorful card with Pooh front and center! We had Eyeore for an overnight, he brought Penny too lol Great card! (and the kids laugh when they think about poor Mr. Roebuck lol)
