Acorns & Leaves

Hello friends, at Can You Handle The Pressure we have a NEW
OPTIONAL theme and it is Trees and/or Leaves.
We are an anything goes challenge though as long as you use an
embossing folder which is a MUST!
This challenge encourages you to get those EB folders out and
put them to use.  With so many new ones on the market and the awesome
3D folders, it's a pretty easy challenge!

I first inked up a panel with a few fall-ish colors of  Distress inks
Fossilized Amber, Shabby Shutters, Abandoned Coral, and Carved Pumpkin.
I embossed with a Spellbinders Falling Leaves folder.
A die cut from Tutti Designs Stitched Nesting Banners was cut from
Lawn Fawn Fruit Salad paper.  I added a twine bow and a cute
Tutti Designs Oak Sprig colored with Copics and ink.
I might add a sentiment later if I can find one that looks like it belongs
on the card front!

We hope to see you and your embossing folders at
Can You Handle The Pressure!

What a beautiful Fall creation! Love your gingham banner ... perfect to showcase your pretty fall colored oak sprig & acorns! I need to remember to use my baker's twine more often ... it's the perfect addition here! Nicely done my friend!!

Oh, I love your bright vivid colors, especially with that neutral gingham. That banner really makes your die cut pop, and I like the addition of the baker's twine. Remember when that was all the rage and we all had every color? I haven't used it in ages, thanks for the inspiration.

Oooh, I love that Oak Sprig. My Tutti fall dies are still some of my favorites. Love how you've colored the leaves to match your fall embossed background, and the neutral gingham banner is perfect for the 'in-between"!
