Happy Halloween

You might say I am doing this Unity challenge by the seat of my pants....
it ends in just a few hours.....

the challenge is "banners or pennants".....
My banner is from a long past "kit of the month" from Unity "June 2009"
just goes to show you, these stamps are very versatile.....
I used a SU "pumpkin" marker to color in my banner a bit
and trimmed some new Authentique Paper called "Glowing"
the ribbon is a last tiny bit I used up (yeah)!!

That's it for tonight.....but will be back with several more cards
this week using my "past Unity kit of the month stamps" :>)

Time To Think Pink

Happy Friday All....

I am off today to a workshop at Joan's Gardens in Indiana
and before I go wanted to post my "Time To Think Pink" card
for the challenge at "Flourishes".....
and also for the Copic Oz challenge
I used my  newest Flourish stamp set "Garden Picks" and colored it in with my Copics's
I love this beautiful set, and it stamps so precise and gorgeous.....
this is a rather simple card I stamped, colored with Copics, added a bit of glitter,
used a Spellbinders die to cut
and an embossing folder, finished with a yummy sheer ribbon.....
but I like it!!

WCMD Trend Challenge

This is my last entry for the challenges at Ellen Hutson for
World Card Making Day....
the challenge is "trends"...using a die

I used a Spellbinders JustRite die Classic Edges One and
JustRite stamp set Classic Lace Edges One....
I find myself not only buying tons of new dies lately,
but all the lace and doily dies I can get my hands on.....
must be that "milestone" birthday coming that has me into "vintage"...lol

I also made my flower out of ribbon with a little flower loom....time consuming
but different from my usual flowers!!
the inks used are Tim Holtz distress inks "Peacock Feathers" and "Picked Raspberry"
which Ranger just announced they will carry these "limited editions" full time!!

I have a couple pictures to share of the stamped image before cutting with the die
and also the die itself

Scene It Challenge

This is the card I made for the "Scene It" challenge at Ellen Hutson's

I made my Halloween card by inking a background....
it doesn't show, but I have metallic ink on the "sky" and the "moon"....
the house is a die by Memory Box called "country house".....
I think it made a great "haunted house".....
the witch and black cat are Martha Stewart punches....
the tree is from a teressa collins cricut cartridge.....
I have one more card to post today for the challenges at Ellens.....

Sketch challenge for WCMD

This is the card I made for the "Sketch" challenge at Ellen Hutson's....

remember the "MY Minds Eye" paper "All Is Bright" I talked about in my post below?
This is from the same paper pack.....
I LOVE this paper...
I fussy cut out the banner from the page and "hung" with 2 glittery brads
the sentiment is stamped on a die from My Favorite Things using a piece of the same paper....

it's simple, but I love that banner

Holiday Greetings Challenge

This card is for the "Holiday Greetings" challenge at Ellen Hutson's....
now you might ask "Where is your holiday greeting?"....
it is my beautiful designer paper with holiday words all over it
like Noel, Rejoice,Merry Christmas, Joy and so on....
the paper is a GORGEOUS desgin from My Minds Eye called "All is Bright"...
it's one of those pads that is so beautiful you just want to hoard it!!

I also used a Memory Box die "Deer Trio"....
I have a few more challenges to post for WCMD....
and don't forget to come back next week end to see my blog candy....
one item is in my "Ellen Hutson" order right now and you are going to want it!!

Pinterest Inspired ~ Pinterest Inspired

I am back with my "first" entry into the WCMD challenges at Ellen Hutson's
this challenge is "pinterest inspired" using the photo provided....

when I saw this challenge I knew right away what I was going to do....

I bought a Prima stamp set from Ellen a few weeks back that was perfect
for this challenge...I used it for my background.....
the flower is a SU stamp which I embossed with melon mambo and cut out
the black ribbon is a piece of some free ribbon Ellen always tucks in with every order...

Ellen has 5 challenges going for a spectacular prize of $150 store credit....
so head on over and get in on it!!!
