Time for a new challenge at

The Sisterhood of Crafters.

The challenge is being hosted by our sister Agata
and she has chosen the theme
'Use Your Imagination'
(anything goes, but try to think outside the box).

I thought this funny card kind of fit the bill for imagination lol!

I used a Tutti Designs 'Mr. Set'.

I think this is such a fun and a bit funny set!

The background paper is G45.
Using another Tutti Designs die (Nesting Stitched Hearts)
I die cut a red background heart.

The star in the glass 'lens' is a punch.
The sentiment, I computer generated.

Wedding Wish

I was going to post a 'man's card today

and totally switched gears and decided to post this wedding card I created.

This poor card has been sitting here awhile to make it's debut

and today is the day!

Not only is June a month for all those 'man' cards

but  month for weddings as well...

in fact my anniversary is the 20th of this month

and we are leaving Thursday to celebrate it!

This card is super simple and looks like a million bucks

(well, in my opinion at least lol)

It basically is a black card stock base topped with a white linen card stock.

The fun part is the gorgeous 'Hanging Love' die by Tutti Designs.

Look at all the gorgeous detail from the border to the letters themselves....

so pretty.

All I did was add a sentiment, pearls and flowers.

Happy Father's Day

My 'man' card for today is a bright and cheerful

'Father's Day' card!

I recently discovered that my favorite card stock base

from Recollections came out with lots of pretty colors

in the same heavy 110# paper.

I mostly use white~black~cream for all my bases

but could not resist buying these bright colors!

I got into my scrap bags for all the layering and for the ties themselves.

The die I used is a new one from Tutti Designs

'Fancy Tie'.

The sentiment is computer generated !

Hammer On

I see lots of fun challenges for masculine projects out there

and thought I would add this card to a few.

I have not one, but two pads of burlap 'paper' pads

in my stash

for whatever reason I don't know lol....

and thought it would be perfect for a masculine card.

I used a Tutti Designs Nesting Stitched Square and a

Frantic Stamper Stitched pocket.

A little red plaid 

'kerchief' was tucked in.

I added a loop to the pocket and then the hammer using the new die

from Tutti Designs 'Fancy Hammer'

Being Father's Day is so near, I will be showing a few more of my

'masculine' cards in the next few days to come

which is a rarity for me lol!

Summer Gardening

I have been busy outside trying to beat the hot hot weather

we are to get starting today.

Geez, I am so slow that I don't think I will ever

get my gardens cleaned up!

My card today is a very summery one full of garden goodness!

I made this card using a Tutti Designs die

'Floral Watering Can'

I die cut it from white card stock

then colored each detail with Copics.

I used a gingham paper for the background and a corner

punch on the top 2 corners, thinking it matched the die under

the water can.

A bow using RRR was added to the handle.....

It just so happens that I am the hostess for our next challenge at
Fussy and Fancy
and chose the fun theme of
'Pamper Your Pets'.
It can be ANY pet you have...birds, fish, you name it!


For my 'pampered' pet
I made a French Poodle card!

I had a negative left from a poodle 

I must of cut from my Cricut at some point.

I thought it would be fun to use that with a bit of 'French' paper

behind the negative.

I used my Cricut to cut an Eiffel Tower, added a ribbon rose, 

leaves and a feather.

The sentiment is from a Sizzix stamp set.

New Shoes

Every girl needs a new pair of shoes and I have a

fun 'shoe' for you today!!

This shoe is full of sparkle-y goodness!

I used a Tutti Designs Floral Shoe die.

The designer paper has glitter in it as well....

pretty simple!

Last year I bought five clearance Roses at Lowes.

Did you know that they have markdowns on their plants

every Sunday?  Well they do here at least..lol.

This is one of the Roses starting to bloom...

I also want to wish my oldest granddaughter Mariah a Happy Birthday today...

she is 25...yikes...already!!

I am entering this into these fabulous challenges.
