Every Sunrise

Time for a new challenge at Triple B,
the challenge blog that is all about Birds~Blooms~Butterflies
you can use one, two, or all three.
We have a mood board for your inspiration but any color is okay
as long as you have used one of the three B's .

I went with BLOOMS for my card using a never seen ink before
Penny Black Nature's Glory stamp colored in with Copics
along with an old JustRite Hope and Love stamp for the sentiment.
The card base is Spellbinders Persimmon.

Won't you come and join us at Triple B with one, two or three of the B's?

Ghostly Greetings

Hey friends, our Love Those  Pretty Papers challenge
is starting this month and our OPTIONAL theme is
Things That Go Bump In The Night (Ghosts & Goblins)!

I grabbed a really really OLD paper pad for my 'goblins' card,
Me & My Big ideas Mambi Sheets (2013), told you it was OLD,
but it had several fun goblin images in it that were perfect
for our 'optional' theme!
The background paper is from the same pad.

I popped the 'goblin's up after I added a card stock base
and the sentiment is a Spellbinders rub-on!
Another fun mini slimline card!

For my Anything Goes card I used a paper for my background from
Prima's Pumpkin and Spice 6x6 pad.
The mushroom topping piece is from a Memory Place 12x12
Beary Cozy Collection.  It has 10 pieces that you can easily use
for card fronts as I did.  I purchased this back in November of 2024,
it's about time I used it don't you think?

There you have it, my cards for our October
Love My Pretty Papers challenge!
Hope to see ya there!

Season To Be Spooky

It's OCTOBER at Two Old Bats, can you believe it?
We have a fun mood board for inspiration so get busy
you have an entire month to join us!

I was inspired by the pretty witch in the upper left corner
and she reminded me of a witch I had in my stash from
Brutus Monroe creative card fronts.  There are 36 witches in this package
some are pretty, some downright creepy!!

I cut down an IO frame to fit around her image, added some
Simon Says Stamp bats (popped up of course)  all placed on
Brutus Monroe Vintage Frights paper.

Come and have some Halloween fun with us at Two Old Bats!!

Happy Fright Night

Today at Simply Clean & Simple we have an OPTIONAL theme
and it is 'Something Tiny (keep it small).

Being October I went with a Halloween theme and using a much neglected
SU stamp set 'Eat, Drink & Be Scary, using just the fun little spider
in the set!  I also added a strip of glittered washi tape.  Don't ask me
where I got it as I have had it forever and was surprised it still had it's 'sticky'
strip on it.  Very very SCAS card!  It will be easy to mail!

We would love to have you join our fun challenge at SCAS!!

Spooky

Hello friends, we have a new challenge starting today for the  month
of October at Word Power, the challenge where your
BIG sentiments take center stage!

I'm back again with one of the 99 cent dies I purchased last
year at Simon Says Stamp.  It is a Simon die Large Outline Spooky.
The outline cuts separately so I could of outlined it in  orange, then the letters in black
but to save time and patience (lol) I just kept it all the same colors.
Because I die cut in both orange and black to reverse the letters
from the base I ended up with two cards, might as well make both
then add even more to my 'parts' bins.
Both papers used are Brutus Monroe  Just simple cards
that tell it all!

Card #2

We would love to see YOUR BIG sentiments at
Word Power, so come on over!!

Spooky Night

Colorful Options is back this month with a spooky mood
board and a mix of colors perfect for October!!

Option 1 — Black, Orange, Red & White

Create a project featuring black, orange, red, and white.

Use all four colors together for bold contrast and dramatic impact. Think fiery glow, deep shadows, and striking highlights—spooky, intense, or graphic, your interpretation.

Option 2 — Pick Your Color

Prefer to focus on a single color? Choose one color from the palette: Black (bold, dramatic, high contrast)  Orange (bright, fiery, energetic)  Red (intense, rich, glowing) White (clean, stark, high impact).

Let your chosen color take the lead—minimal, layered, or bold.

I definitely went with OPTION 1 using the colors
    Red~Black~Orange~White.
It took me awhile to figure out how I wanted to use all those colors
together and a Halloween card seemed my only idea and perfect
for October.  I used a Lawn Fawn four sides different cloud stencil with TH Distress inks
and a moon created with a circle stencil I made using the negative piece from a SU circle punch.  ALL the dies used as well as
the sentiment rub on are from Spellbinders.  That fence is a real 'oldie'
I have had for years, it's a bit long but I just snipped it off to fit my A2 card front.
The bats are from a 2024 Sept die of the month, also SB.

I can't wait to see what your 'interpretation' is of the color board!!

    Thankful

It is FALL at The Four Seasons and we have a mood board
for inspiration but you can create anything as long as you keep it FALL!!

There were lots of pumpkins in this mood board so I had to let
those inspire me, but there is plenty more including the colors!!
The pretty plaid background paper is Paper Rose Autumn Plaid,
I die cut a Spellbinders Curved Matting Basics A and stamped my
image, also a Spellbinders Stamp of the month Sept 24 Autumn Wishes
that I purchased from one of their Warehouse sales.  It was colored in
with a mix of Copics, Olo's and Altenew alcohol markers.  The sentiment
is from a large Simon Says Stamp set Thanks & Leaves purchased during one
    of their 99cent sales.

This is our second month of Fall so I hope you will join us at
