Shades of Green

This week at Impression Obsession the challenge is "shades of green"....

I received some new stamps last month from IO and decided to use my
"new" "floral bird"...isn't he just "Divine"????

This is one of those card I started and just wasn't sure where I was going with it...
do you ever get days like that??
I added some little flowers I cut to his body to give him a bit of dimension
added tiny gems to the centers...they were picky and much rather would of
stuck to my fingers then the flowers...lol
I finally decided that it was such a green card, that a "good luck" was needed
and a few tiny shamrocks!!!
Different from what I have been doing......

Also someone emailed me and asked what papers I made my flowers with...
I use everything....however, if I am going to "shape" a flower...
I use a 65# lighter weight card stock.....otherwise its DS paper, fabric, felt,
anything I can get my dies to cut!!!

And then of course, here are more photo's from last years gardens.....
I wanted to add, that one time my hubby's daughterinlaw came to see my gardens
and my charming hubby told her that she could come and dig up anything she wanted...
I almost "came unglued"...lol...
and said oh no no no.....
if you want something, let me know and I can give you a start....
after she left I gave him heck and told him to NEVER EVER
tell someone to dig anything from my gardens...can you imagine!!
He now "shows off" my gardens...much better...lol!!

What an adorable card creation Diane and your gardens are AMAZING! Oh I just yurn to have a flower garden like this! Absolutely beautiful ... you certainly have a green thumb! If I ever make it to your neck of the woods ... I'll give you a heads up for some starters ... or should I just come and dig up what looks good to me?? LOL! Good thing you set him on the narrow path ... you wouldn't have any garden left!
Beautiful work on your card and on your gardens!
