Have A Heart

We are having the BEST weather here in Michigan!
It was 65 yesterday and looks
like it is to be that all the way to next Friday!
Also, we have sunshine for all but 2 of the days,
then back to winter next weekend.
Trouble is much as I like that,
it confuses my poor flowers and they start
to appear, only to be frozen out...ugh!

When I made all my Valentine cards I tired to make a few
that could be used for almost any occasion and I think this one
fits the bill so to speak...a card maybe for a friend or loved one.

I just cut 3 layers/sizes of Tutti Designs
added a red polka dot heart
and then used the new
which I cut from a metallic paper.

I am sure you will be seeing me use these a lot
in my flower cards.

Diane Hi!
This is a very sweet card! This is beautiful, love the gingham and the stitched rectangles. The heart is so sweet and love the embossing and those florals are just perfect tied with that ribbon! Thank you for playing along with us this week at Jo's Scrap Shack!

Yes, hearts can be used for lots of different occasions 'cause they're just plain cute. I like hearts for thank you cards, too, and get well or just for cheering up. This one would be perfect, I think, with all that springy, happy gingham. We had a couple of those nice days last week, and it was wonderful!

Hi Diane. I saw your card over at Jo's Scrap Shack challenge and had to come check you out! I use stamps but heavily use die cuts and your card attracted me with your detailed flower stems. I tend to use Cricut a lot but I've been getting a few dies here and there too. They are addicting, especially the ones with the faux stitching! Love them! Anyway, I like what I see so I've joined your blog. If you get a minute, I'd love if you checked me out too. -Janet http://sugarshinedesigns.blogspot.com/
