Sitting Pretty Kitty

This is my post today on the
Sparkle N Sprinkle blog.

Today I have a super cute stamp set I am using  'Sitting Pretty Kitty'.
I also have a very fun and easy technique I used to create the card with just a few supplies.
Stamp your card stock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
Next cut a piece of Super Adhesive Sheets
to fit over your entire image.
(these adhesive are double sided adhesive)
Apply the sheet directly over the image and pull off the
cover sheet to expose the adhesive.

Next apply a clear or semi transparent glitter over the
entire adhesive piece.
I used Cloud Nine Velvet Semi Transparent glitter which worked perfect.

Use your pens such as Copics like I used here
and start coloring in.
A little tip is to color from the middle out as the Copics will
bleed color outward.
You could try other pens such as Sharpies, but I haven't tried
those so am not sure of the results.
Once I had the kitty completely colored,
I sponged on  ink all around the image
using Distress Squeezed Lemonade ink.

Here is a close up of the finished kitty.
I stamped the sentiment (part of the stamp set)
with Versamark,
then embossed with Jazzy Orange embossing powder
Here he is completed.
I added a ribbon bow a few flower buttons.
Thank you for visiting with me today!

Wow! That's an amazing effect! I've never ever colored over glitter with my Copics, but I know people do it sometimes. It turned out great! And with those fun papers and colors it's infinitely sweet and cheery!
