Stained Glass Technique

This is my post on the Sparkle N Sprinkle blog today.

Hi, Diane with you today with a fun technique  called 'stained glass' using the new stamp set 'Pansies'.

For this technique you will need a piece of vellum to stamp on.
Stamp your image with Versamark, then emboss with  Gold Detail embossing powder.

The next step is to simply color on the BACK of the vellum piece.  I used Copic pens for mine.  I think it is such a gorgeous way to color these beautiful pansies.  Just make sure to always color on the back and not accidentally on the front (ask me how I know) as it will ruin your entire effort!

Here it is totally finished with the coloring.

Here is a close up of the detail.
I finished my card by embossing an EB folder for the side panel
and the sentiment with Cherry embossing powder.  A twine bow was added to finish.

I hope you give this technique a try as it is so easy and the results are amazing!
