Double D Challenges Neons/Brights

Our new challenge at Double D Challenges is
Neon's or Brights....
WOW, this board will wake you right!

I bought a bit of neon inks, glitter, ribbons and etc awhile back
and have to say I haven't found where I put any of
(except the glitter of course, since I am a 'glitter groupie' at SNS)

I have lots and  mean lots of flower dies and I thought it was about time
I used some of them (I let the bright flowers in the mood board inspire me).

I die cut the flowers from white card stock, then colored each with Copics
I then coated each flower layer with Brushable Glue, then neon glitters.
All the glitters I used are from Sparkle N Sprinkle, but all but one 'Electrified"
have been discontinued (boohoo)...they are so bright and pretty!
I added 'Prills' to the flower centers.

I used a die cut 'Mexican Tile' from CLD for the background.

The sentiment was stamped with Sparkle N Sprinkle Black Detail EB powder.
The sentiment is from SU stamp set 'Happy Harmony'..and it is from 2007..Wow! (NBUS stamp)
At first I thought the word Harmony was blurred and stamped it about 3 times
and each and every time it came out the same!
So, I finally looked at the stamp cover and that is how it is supposed to be....(almost a
so now I have a few extra stamped sentiments to use at a later time...LOL!

Head on over to the Double D Challenge blog and see all the bright and beautiful
inspiration there from the Design Team, they nail it every time!

Oh, my gosh, all this time I thought those flowers were felt. Awesome, bright, and pretty! Love their Prills centers. The green and yellow with the flower colors and the pretty die frame is perfect. I really, really love this card! Hope you find your neon stuff. I lose things every time I reorganize.

I think you might win recognition as the oldest NBUS used, Diane! Why is it when we blur our sediments, we can't just pretend that the stamp came that way, like this one did? I have that stamp and every time I look at it I wonder if the manufacturing process biffed it and they just said, oh, heck, it's Gandhi, let's pretend we meant to do that, lol! You have really personified that mood board with your neon vibrant and schparkly flowers! Wow, wow, and then again, WOW!! The whole design is fantastic! Thank you so much for playing in NBUS Challenge #11! Hugs, Darnell
