Roses In My Heart 879 stamp
Other: Ribbon, Copics
Hi, Diane with you to show you a beautiful card and
The Roses In My Heart stamp was stamped using the Tim Holtz Stamp Platform
with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
on a die cut heart and then embossed with Red Apple embossing powder.
The image was then colored with Copics
and fussy cut with Tonic 5" Mini Scissors.
I added a bit of shimmer around the out edge of the heart here and there using the
and adhered it down with Tear-ific Tape 1/2" on my 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" card base.
The technique I used is so fun and so very easy. It is the Glitter Spatter Technique.
You will need a little lid of some type like I have shown,
Squirt a very small amount of SNS Brushable Glue in the lid, and a small squirt of water
Next just simply 'flick' the end of the brush (just above the brush itself)
Repeat this step as many times as you like until you are satisfied with the results.
I laid down a few sheets of scrap paper to protect my work surface as it does 'spatter!
Here is a close up of the heart'

I hope you enjoyed my tutorial and will try this yourself,
the results are amazing! Thank you for visiting with me today.

Very pretty Diane - love your splatter glitter technique!
Diane, you really took the velvet glitter to new heights! I love that "splatter" effect and appreciate the detailed tutorial for someone like me who has trouble visualizing. Your card is LOVELY and looks amazing with the die cut heart in the middle with the sentiment. I also am in love with the way you colored those leaves. (I envy the careful coloring of red around your scalloped heart - wow!) Fantastic card. hugs, de

Just a beautiful card. Your coloring is superb, and that background die cut is just perfect. Thanks for the glitter splatter tip. I have done with before but forgot about it, thanks for the reminder. I did it one time with gold glitter and it was spectacular. I love the white even more.
