October Day

Design Team Member At

October 1st.....my favorite month...
it's my birthday month...not until the 13th though...
and it is also the first challenge of the month at

Our theme is Anything Goes...
you can't go wrong there lol!

For my card I used a very favorite die of mine
from Poppystamps 'Stitch Wreath'.
For quite awhile I have had a bit of an addiction for what I call the negative dies,
meaning they don't cut out of your paper but into it.

To create all the colors in my wreath I used Luminarte Splash of color
from the Autumn Brilliance set.
It includes the colors of
Raspberry Wine~Harvest Sol~Desert Clay~Spanish Moss
making a pretty background for my wreath.
It's been a long~long while since I have had these out
and I forget how fun they are.

I stamped the sentiment with Memento Dew Drop Ink Potter;'s Clay...
I am not sure whose sentiment that is..sorry.

Here is a close up of the colors.

Here are the links for the Dies R Us products I have used:

This is so vibrant and stunning Diane! I've never seen those pots of color but they sure are pretty. What a lovely CAS card for the challenge.

Gosh, this is just so pretty! I've been looking at it for the longest time now. Love the colors in the background. Those pots look like Twinks. Is it the same thing, I wonder? I always love the negative dies, too. I'm totally on a buying hold right now (after my extended spree). I can't even look.
