It's Snow Time

Snow Time

It has been crazy busy here but finally I now have free time
pretty much through the end of the year to do as I please...
I still want to do a little baking and have a couple more gifts to get
but for the most part I am FREE!

That being said, this year I hardly had any time at all
to create except for the Teams I am on
so told myself THAT was going to change.
Which brings us today to a challenge I saw at

Last year (yep LAST year) I saw this die set on one of the designers blogs
and thought it was cute!  It comes with 6 different circle dies
and doesn't cut out, just cuts the circle with the image inside...super cute!

I created this card by cutting out the snowflake on a white pearlized metallic paper,
then adding a sticky paper behind it and coated each circle with Marine Blue glitter.

I let the snowflakes take center stage and added a ribbon around the middle...no bow.
The ribbon has sparkle in it and is actually how I chose the color
glitter to use, matching the ribbon.

Here is a close up of the die and the glitter.
Thanks for looking!!!

What a great batch making card! Love the glitter shining through from the back! Very cool card!

Isn't that freedom a wonderful feeling? Every year it's always the same -- a few days before Christmas I can get down to the fun of it. Love your card and the simplicity of it with those pretty snowflakes. I'm really falling for the idea of cut outs like this, or negative space dies. Easy and pretty!

When we give our all to DTs it can sometimes be hard to squeeze in another challenge! I am so glad that you were able to create for the Snow Time Challenge at IO! Your snowflakes are so pretty and so is the blue ribbon! Beautiful winter card!
