Today at Double D we have the perfect theme for April
and it is April Showers water related!
We have all kinds of ideas for inspiration for you in our mood board below!
I have to admit I purposely purchased this stamp (Colorado Craft All Weather Friend) just for this challenge!
I also have to admit that I am totally addicted to this company
and you will surely see many more of their images here!

I used a raindrop stencil for the background
and stenciled with Versamark and a SNS Silver Detail
embossing powder.

I stamped the image on watercolor paper,
colored with my Tombows, then used the matching die to cut out.
The only thing is the stamped image had a couple of puddles
which the die does not include, co I fussy cut them out myself
and added them to the card. The top of the umbrella was paper pieced
as it does come with a die just for that.

I learned a long time ago when a die is offered to grab it then
or you will certainly wish you had later!

This is adorable Diane! I have a friend who is in love with this company too. Their images are all so darling! I love the sentiment too! Did that come as a set?
Fabulous card, love the image
OMG this is so cute Di! Your raindrop background looks awesome and love his colorful umbrella! What a fabulous sentiment to go with your image! Fun card my friend!
So very cute and fun! I love the mouse with his umbrella and the rainy background looks perfect with it.
What a cute card! That little bunny trying to stay dry under the colorful umbrella. Love the puddles too!
I never would have thought of this idea to use a stencil and make these amazing raindrops. Just think, they could be any color. I too am collecting the Colorado Craft stamps, I love them.
Too cute! The sparkly raindrop background looks fabulous. Love the colorful umbrella too.
Great stenciled background! I adore that sweet little bunny image holding your pretty little umbrella! Happy Spring!
I love that company too and have a couple different stamp sets from this artist. So stinkin' cute, every single one of them. You have used this image perfectly, it just makes me smile. Great take on the challenge, great card!!!
Sooooooo cute! You know I love it! I've been looking at these Anita Jeram stamps over and over, trying to pick something, but I can't decide! I have so much already, sigh. I love your rainbow umbrella, and your bunny coloring rocks. In total agreement about buying the matching dies. Hugs!
Oh I'm loving that board and I'm loving your card! Dare I say this but we could do with a little rain for the garden... It's been very dry but I fear that once the rain starts it may not stop. Hope you are dong okay... have a lovely week
This is so cute Diane and yes , Anita Jeram stamps are so adorable. I love them too and managed to purchase two of her adorable critter stamps in South Africa from a local craft shop - one of the best days of my life! Your design is so pretty with the colourful umbrella and the darling rabbit.
