Baby Card

 I needed some baby cards for my sale boxes
and made a few christening gown cards.
I did them all in white and saw where AAA Cards had a white on white
challenge so entered my card there, worked out perfect for me!

This is a CAS challenge so hope my WOW card meets the challenge as
it surely was 'simple' enough using a Cottage Cutz die, a Tutti Designs
word die and an embossing folder!
It does have a lot of white space , simple simple LOL!!

The others are just the same but different EB folders were used!

Sketch 718

 Hello All, I have some fun and exciting news to share!
I am the newest member of the Sketch Saturday challenge
and am looking forward to this team as it will take me out of
my 'comfort zone' which is exactly what I need!!
Do you ever feel like all your cards begin to look alike even when they don't?
That's how I have been feeling lately so being part of a sketch challenge
I am hoping will take that feeling away!

Here is our awesome fun sketch for the next two weeks:
There is also a twist if you want to add a bit more challenge to yourself
and this time it is LOVE~ROMANCE!

For my first card I pretty much followed the sketch and the twist
creating a fun 'love' snowman card.
I used an Impression Obsession Snowman set that I have had for 
quite sometime.  It felt good to pull it out and use it again!
Once I had him stamped I fussy cut him out, could of used my Scan N Cut

but thought the pieces were pretty tiny for that!
The other dies, octagon, larger hearts and the Love word are all from Tutti Designs,
the little hearts were punched with a SU heart punch.

Can You Handle The Pressure Borders

 Hello my friends, it's time for our second challenge of the month at
Can You Handle The Pressure where you are to use an
embossing folder.  Wet embossing is permitted but you MUST 
use an embossing folder too!

Our optional theme this time around is 'BORDERS'.
You can use any kind of border you want as long as
you have also used an embossing folder too.
But remember borders are just optional,
our challenges are always anything goes as long as an
embossing folder is used!!

As usual, I went with the optional theme
as I like having a starting point!
For my border I used a pretty Sizzix Handkerchief border
embossing folder, it's so delicate and pretty!

I also die cut a Marianne die and added some flowers
I created using  Pretty Pink Posh Spring Foliage dies .
The sentiment is from The Greetery.

Winter Wishes

 Our new challenge at The Sisterhood of Crafters theme is
Brrr, It's Cold Outside
and being January here in Michigan, that is is!

For my card I inked a background in Distress Oxide uncharted mariner.
The snowflake is Tonic's Winter Snowflake.
I like it's big lacey look!
I saw a pretty layout on Pinterest HERE for my idea
as after the holiday's my brain can use all the help it can get lol!
Plus, I just LOVE using Pinterest for inspiration!

I stamped a sentiment from the Pretty Pink Post Winter Sentiments set.

Snow Challenge

It's a 'snowy' themed challenge at Double D and we have a  
a snowy mood board for inspiration!

I let the bottom right corner inspire me with the polar bear snowman!

I used a Creative Expressions Christmas Characters die set using the bear die.
It also has a reindeer which I have used before and a winter fox
which I haven't, he will be next!
After completing my card I added my 'snow' using
Nuvo Glitter Drops White Blizzard!
All the die cuts shown are part of the Christmas Characters die set.

Floral Happy Birthday

Happy Tuesday, hope you have a creative day today!

I saw this sketch at Atlantic Heart Sketch Challenge
and knew I had the perfect pieces to put together a card! 

For the background I used a couple of pieces of vellum
and a doily I already had precut in my stash just waiting to be used!
The flowers and most of the greens are from Spellbinders Bold Blooms,
also already premade.
I die cut a Honey Bee banner and stamped the
sentiment  from Pretty Pink Posh.
This came together pretty fast since I had most of the pieces already

precut and ready to use! 

No DT work today, just a card for fun for a change!!

Blue and Brown Florals

Well hello there, it is our FIRST challenge at the NEW 
Beautiful Blossoms challenge blog and
Donna has a beautiful mood board for inspiration,
all that pretty blue and yummy chocolate brown color!

For my first card for the challenge

I used a pretty Prima paper from the Nature Lover 6 x 6 pad
and a stamp set from Altenew Fabulous Florets.
The sentiment is also from Altenew's Sentiment Strips 2.

The new challenge is all about flowers and who doesn't LOVE beautiful flowers?

Peace On Earth #32

It's mid January and we are still going strong at
Peace On Earth
with our year long Christmas challenge!

We have a wintery/bird mood board for inspiration
but you can create anything you want as long as it is
Christmas themed!! 

I looked at the top left corner and knew I have some fun dies to recreate 
the scene somewhat!!  The top right corner of my card looks chopped off, it's not,
it's just the angle of the card, wish I had caught that sooner darn it!!

Marshmallow Fun

 Our first challenge of the year at
Can You Handle The Pressure has an optional theme of 
DOTS!

I always try to go with the theme if I can.
I used a We R Memory Keepers 6x6 Dotted embossing folder
and cut it down to slightly smaller then an A2 card size
for the background of my card.
After seeing this stamp set (Pink & Main's S'more Fun)
being used on one of other challenges I just had to purchase it!
I colored it up with Copics then popped the image up on
a Tutti Designs dotted rectangle.

This is a fabulous challenge to make you get those 
neglected embossing folders out and put to use at
our Can You Handle The Pressure challenge blog
and there is always a fun prize to be had to one lucky random
entry just by entering an embossed project.
Heat embossing is permitted but you MUST use an embossing folder to enter!

TOB January Mid Month Reminder

We are half way through our challenge at Two Old Bats
with about two weeks to go! 

Here is our Inspiration Board, but you can create anything as long
as it is Halloween themed!

I did a quick and easy card using background paper from
Honey Bee Halloween Harvest 6 x 6 pad.
The sentiment piece was layered on a Tutti Designs stitched square,
the swirls on it reminded me of snow! 
I added a ghost ephemera piece.  Like I said, easy peasy!!

Masculine Birthday Wishes

 The theme for the challenge at 
The Sisterhood of Crafters is NEW!
That can be interpreted  anyway you want,
but, I went with NEW products.
I received this stamp set Over The Hedge Henry The Fox set
from my BFF and partner in crime Dar and thought it was
the perfect challenge to pull it out for.
I am also using a new paper pad from P13 called Autumn.

I got my inspiration for the design of my card HERE on Pinterest.
I  thought it was such a cute design for a masculine card so went with it!

New Baby

 Hello all, did you have a nice holiday time?
Did you get some fun crafty goodies?
Thanks to my daughter, my hubby got me the
Sizzix Switch and have to say I love it!
My only problem is I now have so many machines
in my crafty space I'm not sure what to do with them all!!

I needed some baby cards as all I have left is one.
I am hoping to put at least 12 together and have started with these four!

When my friend gave me bags and boxes of stamps last summer
there must of been at least 20 different baby ones including these
tiny footprints.  So I made two baby boy cards and two baby girl cards.

The sweet papers all came from a Pebbles 6x6 paper pack 'Lullaby'.
The stamp is a Hero Arts Baby Footprints and 'new' to me.
I printed all the sentiments from my computer then cut them out
with a Spellbinders rectangle die .
After my stamping was done I felt I had too much white space so added
the little gingham 'candies' to each one!

Double D 7th Birthday

We have been going strong for SEVEN years at 
our Double D Challenge, can you believe it's been that long already.
We have seen challenges come and go in the seven years
but our challenge just keeps getting bigger and bigger!

We are having a 'celebrate birthday part for the next two weeks
and have a yummy mood board for inspiration.
The theme is an 'anything goes as long as it is birthday related!

I used a never been used stamp from my stash from Sparkle N Sprinkle
Woofie's Birthday.  After coloring my image I cut him out with a 
wonky rectangle die, but decided I didn't like the look so
cut out an Impression Obsession polka dot frame .
The paper I used is one of the almost last pieces from DCWV
paper pads, it is exciting to actually use up an entire paper pad,
thee are 3 sheets left, so I'm close!!

The inside sentiment is 
Hot Diggity Dog It's Your Birthday.

Winter Snowflakes

We are into a new year with a new challenge theme for our 
Stencil Fun challenge and the theme is WINTER!
But we are an anything goes challenge and the theme is optional!

I did a Winter/Christmas card using a snowflake stencil from
Catherine Pooler called Snowfall!
I added a bit of dimension and sparkle with
Nuvo Crystal Drops which have glitter in them,
Pink Champagne and Dazzling Blue.

Of course I used non traditional colors once again
on this card and have to say it was much easier then the
cards I showed last month on my December Stencil Fun post,
but not as fancy but still pretty to me!

For the anything goes card I stenciled a pretty bouquet using
Pink Fresh Studios Garden Florals.
Though it's January it is nice to see some pretty spring colors!

Basic Black Challenge

 Today at Colorful Options it is all about
Basic Black!

Not a fan of black?  Then there is always an
option of Rainbow colors!

My card was created totally out of pieces I had
already stamped and/or cut from my bags of pre-cut images.
I have a bag for each color so it was pretty easy
putting this card together just by pulling our some already
die cut and stamped supplies on hand
plus it feels good to use some of it up!!

Because it was all supplies on hand I can't really say
what products I used, though the lattice background die
is from Tonic and I used  black Prills in the flower center!

TOB January 2023 Challenge

Our Two Old Bats year round challenge is up and 'at-em' again
with a fun wintery Halloween mood board for inspiration
It's just that, 'inspiration' , you can create anything you want as
long as it is Halloween themed. 

 Inspiration Board

Living in Michigan we have had many a Halloween where the kiddos had
to traipse through the snow trick or treating. This year (2022) it was almost 

70 degrees out, so you never know, in fact in writing this a week ago it was 70
and today we have over two feet of snow, that's Michigan for you,
flip flops one day and winter boots the next!!

So, all that being said, I let the wintery inspiration board inspire me!

I created my card with a TH snowy background EB folder,
Cheery Lynn Designs Bench, Memory Box stitched pumpkins,
a TH die cut tree, Impression Obsession little ghosts and added diamond
stickles for an icy effect!!

Four Seasons January Winter

Happy New Year!!

We are into our second WINTER season at Four Seasons and have
this super cute and wintery mood board for inspiration, but you can
create anything as long as it is winter themed!

 Anything Winter

I let the bottom left corner picture inspire me using a couple
'new to me' and 'never been used before' supplies from my ever growing stash!

For the base of my card I used a 3D Tim Holtz Pine Branches embossing folder
and then a Simon Says 3D embossing folder and die cut set for the mittens!  This is a pretty cool set (pun intended lol) that
incudes dies for mittens, a hat and a stocking along
with a 3D embossing folder to place the die cuts in to
emboss each one!!
I added glue spattered on and then glitter for a snowy effect!
To keep the glitter in place, I always lightly spray with hair spray!

Peace On Earth #31 January 2023

 HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!
Not only is it a new year but a new challenge beginning today at
Peace On Earth!
I know Christmas is over (whew) but by joining our challenges twice
a month (or more) you will have a good start on your 2023 Christmas cards
which is always a plus as there is always so much to do during the
holidays and this is one thing you can check off!!

As always it is an ANYTHING GOES challenge as long as it is
Christmas themed, but we always have an inspiration board to
get you going, I know they sure help me think up ideas!!

Can you guess what I let inspire me?
I actually fired up my Cricut to cut the wagon.
Filled it with some Impression Pine trees and
stamped a sentiment to add to it.

The smaller trees in the front are popped up to give a bit of dimension.
I wish I had added a frame around my sentiment but too late now as it is

already adhered in!!
