A Little Kimono

I am out of town back in Mackinaw City for a few days
during Labor Day weekend as my hubby wanted to see
all the chaos there with the closing of the Mackinac Bridge for 5 hours
during the 'bridge walk'.
Do I walk it?  Heck no, it is 5 miles long and it is very high up,
I don't like heights, it's bad enough driving over it on a windy day...lol
(Judy you can relate to it I am sure!)

So today I am sharing a cute little card using the
Tutti Designs Kimono die.

Not much to say about this card, but I embossed a background using a
cherry blossoms EB folder and
added little bow using ribbon from RRR.

Pretty simple card I can use for about any occasion I think!

Well I'm with you.... I hate heights...When I was in The Netherlands Stella took me to a place with a bridge over the road that we had to cross, I started to panic and it took both my hubby and Stella's hubby to get me down Lol!! I honestly though I would die.
Beautiful card with the kimono and lovely colours! Have a wonderful weekend!

Wow! Beautifully done, Diane. I am so impressed that the designer paper did so well with the delicate die! And those little flowers are adorable throughout! Diane, did you emboss the background before adhering the die cut? Or did you adhere the delicate die cute, and then emboss and then add the bow? It's amazing! hugs, de

That cherry blossom background is perfect for the kimono. Pretty! The print on the paper you used for the kimono shows up beautifully, too, and adds to the perfection. Heights freak me out only when there's nothing or appears to be nothing between me and the edge. Glass elevators in tall buildings are bad. I have to stand way in the back and not look. However, I can go up in the Space Needle, for instance, and lean on the barrier and look out to my heart's content. Bridges are okay, even walking on rope bridges. Weird.

Other than it is beautiful! Looks like you embossed that die right into the pretty background. If you didn't, you should! ;)
