I used a stamp I have had for a very long time.
I remember this stamp was so popular and was selling on Ebay
at one time for a crazy amount, only to find it later myself at Michael's
and then even later in the clearance bin at Hobbylobby.
Crazy how sometimes people will pay about anything for something they want,
but not cheap little ole' me, LOL!
I stamped him on vellum using Sparkle N Sprinkle Silver Detail embossing powder (love this powder as it is fine for such an intricate design)
and then colored on the backside, just giving a hint of color.
I ran 1/4" Tear-ific double sided tape around the outer edges, then added
Sparkle N Sprinke Sparkling Snow glitter.
Using a holly die from Impression Obsession and Berry Red Nuvo crystal drops,
I added it to the corner top.
The die cut snowflake panel was already cut and in my stash
just waiting to be used.
It is from the Memory Box Distressed Snowdrift Collage set.
I stamped the sentiment from Kaisercraft Xmas Quotes set
in a very old Excelsior green ink pad,
(do they even make those anymore?
I am surprised it even works still...lol
So head on over to the Double D Challenge blog and join in with us,
there is a fabulous prize to be won!

He is soooooo magical! Love that you embossed him in silver on Vellum, looks amazing like that! And all of that sparkle looks fantastic too! WOW!
Oh, gorgeous, Diane! The silver embossed image of Santa adds real holiday magic to the card. And, I love that snowflake corner die!
I remember this stamp and how popular it was. I never had it, but someone once stamped out a bunch of images for me. It's a classic and with good reason. It's so beautiful! LOVE how you embossed in silver on vellum and did your magical coloring on the backside. Fantastic with the glittery frame and crisp red and green. ps: I want to hear more about your puppy!
Wow, this is stunning!! The image is amazing!! I love the embossing and sparkle and colors!! Gorgeous card, my friend!! Have a great day!! Big hugs :)

Oh my gosh this card is just gorgeous. stamping on vellum is genius and the hint of coloring gives the hint of color without taking away from the sparkle. Love this.
I was thrilled to be lucky enough to see this Santa image in person and to really see how beautiful it!! I LOVE the design you used to showcase him ... the traditional Christmas colors just pop and show him off beautifully! Well done my friend ... well done!!
P.S. you captured the sparkle quite well too ... good photography!!
Oh my gosh, I love your little story about that stamp. And I WANT it!!! It's really cool, especially the way you stamped it on vellum with that embossing powder and colored it from the back. Such a beautiful soft look. This is getting pinned....I think it's fabulous!

Hello, from a sister cheapo. Although I do admit to paying and outrages $28 for 24 sheet paper pad. (It was a truly week moment)
Back to your card. It is totally over the top glittery fabulous! I love the layout and the die cut on the corner. Santa never looked so glamorous!
love the use of the paper. Adds great dimension.
