Thinking of You

Do you have New Year's Resolutions?
Not me, I call them New Year's Goals....
goals to achieve some things in my creating world....

One is to find some fun challenges and challenge 'myself'.
Today I did just that with a brand new challenge I found.
something very different and unique....
something to make me use my stencils....

I am hoping to join in each month....
being monthly I should be able to...how FUN!

So here is my card.

The stencil I used is from Dreamweavers (I think Stampendous owns them now?)
I thought it might be a bit tricky using the inks since it is quite small...
it was...until I used the Nuvo sponges that have that tiny little tip on them
allowing me to get in tiny spaces.

I used oxide inks
worn lipstick~picked raspberry~cracked pistachio~spiced marmalade
The sentiment is from SU.

I am now curious as to what next months stencil challenge will be,
but I am ready for it as I seem to have a major amount of stencil products!!
I hope to see you join in the fun, too!!

Such a beautiful fresh Spring card. I love your stencilling and colours framed by a pretty "cross stitch" die-cut. Thank you for joining in at CAS Stencil Card Challenge.

So pretty Diane!! Love your sweet stenciled jug of flowers. The colours you've used are so bright and happy. And the cross-stitched embossing frame is just perfect. Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Stencil!

That's the most beautiful jug of tulips, all softly shaded with the stenciled ink. I absolutely love the CAS design and the sentiment stamped in pink. I used to have a bazillion of these brass stencils which I used for embossing with a stylus and a light box. Then along came Cuttlebug and embossing folders and now I no longer have my brass stencils. Pity. It's nice to pick a challenge and stick with it. I'll look forward to more of your stenciled cards!
