Easter Lilies

This is my post on the
Tutti Designs blog today:

Hello, Diane with you today.
Since it is getting closer to Easter,
I thought I would share a few cards I made using the beautiful
stained glass Easter Lilies Window.
Keep in mind though,
even if it has the name 'Easter' in it's title,
this die can be used year round,
my own flower gardens are FULL of lilies!

The first card was made using a colorful 'inky' background....
I didn't make it, it was from a paper pad.
I die cut from white card stock and simply placed it over the paper
letting the various colors show through.
a few 'candi dots' were added.
Stamped a sentiment, added a pretty bow
and I have a simple but pretty card!

The second card I embossed a background
from a pretty metallic paper,
die cut from a green metallic
then adhered it down on another multi colored paper,
giving it the stained glass look.
I then carefully trimmed around the edges.
Another easy and pretty card!

Those are gorgeous cards you made and I agree that Lily die can be used year around. Would work great even for a sympathy card design.

Darn right, lilies can be spring through end of summer because there are so many different kinds. My garden used to be full of them, too, but everything has changed for a few different reasons. Sadly, not much of a garden anymore by my standards. Your stained glass lilies sure are gorgeous! Wow, the second one is amazing with the multi-colored paper behind the die cut. Easy and very pretty!
