I have a few different poppy stamp sets and went with one
that I have had for quite some time

I embossed a Sizzix paper background
that seemed the perfect color for my poppies
then colored the poppies in with Copics.

The little poppies sentiment is stamped on a
Cheery Lynn Designs Tags 4 which I added a little hemp bow to.

I think poppies are my favorite and I’m glad to see that you took these out to play. You really should do that more often.
Good for you using an old stamp set, I am doing same. Very pretty and thoughtful card. While I have a ton of flower stamps, most of them are named only "flowers", but I do have a few poppy and morning glory and a gladioli! Have a lotus but not a water lily (I researched!) Anyway, the Double D flower challenges have been a fun learning experience for me because I am probably the world's worst flower identifier. XOX
