Double D Challenge~Christmas JOY

We are into December already and have a fun challenge for you at
Double D challenges and it is JOY!
We want to see the word JOY on your creations and
have the fabulous mood board below to inspire you!

I certainly had fun with this mood board.
I had created a different card but it bugged me so much I
replaced it with the card you see now and like it MUCH better!
Aren't we the worse critics of ourselves?  And funny thing
is the other card I did I sold at a show on Saturday first thing!

For this card I fired up my poor neglected Cricut to cut the word JOY
and it did a pretty fine job!  I also used a never used before die from
Tim Holtz/Sizzix Holiday Greens.
All this was placed on a frame from Impression Obsession that had already
just been sitting around waiting to be used!
The little bow I 'stole' from a die by Cottage Cutz
and I used Nuvo's Red berries for the berries.
I don't think I need to tell you what inspired me from the mood board
as you can certainly tell it was the bottom left corner!

A few years ago I saw this on Pinterest and bought a frame, greens.
the word joy and had intended to make one for myself to display
but I only seem to have been able to manage
it in card form so far, maybe THIS is the year!

Take a peek over at the Double D Challenge blog,
the Design Team is sure to bring you lots of JOY!!

This is the best Joy card For many reasons. I love the plaid paper that you cut the word JOY from. It is just so cozy looking. The right touch to finish this off was that cluster of greenery and that cute bow. I need me some more Joy dies!

This is certainly full of Joy! What a great mood board. Love the plaid cardstock that you incorporated into the card, it looks great with the greenery - just so Christmassy!

I LOVE your card! All the greenery and the gingham, sigh. I guess we aren't the best judges of our own work, but we have to be happy with it. Good thing you didn't just throw it out!
