Friends

So Glad we're friends is the sentiment on this card,
and a rather large card it is, 5 1/4 x 6 1/4.
I made this card using Tutti Designs Flower Cart die.

I filled the cart with flowers,
added a tiny butterfly and a gem on the wheel.
Under the cart is a piece of beautiful 'lace' designer paper.
I cut the paper so I could stamp (white ink)the sentiment in the corner
and added a cute trim to that!

I still felt the card needed something,
so a die cut cat and another butterfly were added.
Do you suppose the kitty caught that butterfly?
He sure is giving it the 'eyeball'!!

Brilliant! I think that flower cart was screaming to have some colorful flowers put inside! It looks great.

Maybe the kitty was just playing with the butterfly! :)

Thanks for joining us for our Friendship challenge at Cut it Up!

How dramatically displayed is your flower cart against the rich, earthy brown and delicate lace, Di! I love the combinations you have chosen, and the carefully placed flowers. Right down to sweet pompoms! Have a great day! xx

Wow! I thought that was real lace! Love how you scooped out the corner of it. Cute trim and also love the yellow cat and printed butterfly. They all look perfect together!
