Everything

At The Sisterhood of Crafters our next challenge is
A non-traditional Valentine...no hearts or flowers
and being hosted by Vicki.

I have to admit it stumped me for a bit....
and could of made chocolates....but in the end I went with a
red and white glitter-y card!

I used a Memory Box Distressed Collage die to cut my card front.
I adhered it to a sticky back paper then added
SNS Fire Engine Red Glitter to it...pretty!

The butterfly is one from Cheery Lynn Designs Lace Flourish Butterfly....
it's a big one and I cut an 'angel wing' from vellum to go underneath.

Here is the inside of the card...
the sentiment both inside and out are from Flouishes.
Remember them?  I have always loved their stamps!

I was very pleased how this card turned out!
To see more non-traditional Valentines...
please head on over to The Sisterhood blog!!

Beautiful inside & out Diane! Yes I remember Flourishes beautiful stamps and I really like these two. Fabulous design with the pretty red sparkle and lacy butterfly! Beautiful inspiration ... thanks!

It's gorgeous, Diane, especially with the vellum under your beautiful butterfly! And that peek of sparkle behind the die cut is genius! I especially like your three pearls next to the outside sentiment, and the darling interior - perfect for family or friend! Beautifully done! hugs, de

This is so gorgeous with all the fantastic red glitter added. And I love the vellum added behind the beautiful butterfly. I know how big that butterfly is too as I also own that one.

This card is absolutely beautiful! Love your idea with the glitter and butterfly. It made a stunning Valentine! Really nice sentiment, too. I always like inside/outside coordinating sentiments. More sets should have them.

This is stunning, Diane! It's one of those cards that I would love to hold in my hands to see all of the details - I'm sure no photograph can catch it all. Great job! Have a wonderful week, Sis!
