Anything Goes Challenge At Dies R Us

It's the first day of the month
and that means a new challenge theme at the
Dies R Us challenge blog.

And an easy challenge it is....
Anything Goes as long as you use a metal die.
So get those dies out and join in for your chance to
win a gift certificate to the DRU store!

I recently received an order from DRU and in it was
this gorgeous
Sue Wilson Frames & Tags Chloe die.
I think it is the prettiest die and it is a perfect size for a card front!

I first cut a rectangle using
Tutti Designs Dotted Nesting Rectangles
then placed the Chloe die on top
and die cut again.
The Chloe die does not cut an edge, so
you can place it directly on a card stock to get the
beautiful cut work design.

I used some papers from Crafters Companion 'Rustic Cottage'
for both under the die cut and also on the card base.
A gorgeous pad of papers and a nice heavy quality.
I kept it pretty simple
and only added a few little pearls to
let the die have 'center stage'!
I also die cut a second one to use again soon...
stay tuned for that!

Pop on over to the Dies R Us challenge blog
and see the wonderful variety of creations
from the Design Team...they are so awesome!!

Ohhhh, that IS a beautiful die and such a lovely, delicate card with the gorgeous paper you used. Definitely a nice size when SW dies are often too big for my cards. I might have to make this a wish list item!

I'd love for you to link this up to the Cropstop blog where it's always "Anything Goes" as long as you use a product or two from one of the companies they carry in the store. (You did!)
