 Just having some fun today!
I wanted to do The Flower Challenge's Purple theme
Shades of Purple
since I just made this flower card using a Pink Fresh Studio stencil
Daisy Wreath.

After I had my stenciling done I used the matching die to die cut out
and popped it up on a piece of gingham  background paper.

The sentiment is from my Sparkle N Sprinkle days!

I created a few more of these in different colors I will show at a later time!

Sweet Easter

 Today at The Sisterhood of Crafters our 'sistah' Debbie has
chosen our theme and it is Easel Card.

I made an egg shape easel card which will go to my
fifteen (one of) granddaughter,
First because she is not a card maker and won't notice the
mistakes I made on it and second because she has every card
I have ever made her!!

I have a die nesting set that is egg shape and created my card using that..
I also have a cute egg die by Poppystamps Ribbon and Bow Egg
that I paper pieced together.

The little bunny and the butterfly I already had cut and took 
from my scrap bags.
The sentiment is from an old Flourish stamp set Easter Baskets.

Happy Easter Egg

  Hello, Diane with you today and I have what I think is my

favorite Easter card I have made this year so far.
I love how this egg turned out and would be such an easy card to replicate!

I started by die cutting the Happy Easter Egg from white card stock
then used the negative part of the die as shown below for a stencil.

I first stenciled pastel color inks on but then decided I want a bit more
brightness so I just added brighter inks over the top of the pastel ones
within the same color range so as not to have it look muddy!

I really liked how it turned out and it was so easy
yet so delicate with the intricate die cutting!

A Friend Indeed

We have a fun new challenge at Double D
and an even more fun mood board to inspire you!

The theme is book covers and you can use anything
you see on the book covers to inspire you!
It could be images, colors, words...anything!

I chose the upper left book using the tiny little characters in the row boat!
I purchased this Penny Black friendship stamp awhile back (long while)
and was itching to use it!

The background paper was a newly purchased pad as well
and seemed to pair well with the stamp!
It is from Honey Bee Beach Vibes, a really nice useable pad for summer!

they always amaze me with their beautiful creativity!

Lotus Blossom

 This is my post on the Tutti Designs today.

 Today I have an Asian flare with three cards
using the Lotus Blossom.

For the first card I tried to use designer paper that fit the theme
of the Lotus Blossom and think these papers were a good choice.

I die cut the lotus blossom then adhered it to white
card, then fussy cut it again by hand.

For the second card I embossed a back panel
then die cut the lotus blossom and adhered it to a stitched circle.

The sentiment was stamped on a stitched rectangle.

The last card I once again used an Asian feel designer paper
mounted on black card stock, die cut the lotus blossom from black card
then adhered it to a colorful paper, then fussy cut it out.

I used the word smile from the word smile set.

Pumpkin Balloon Bouquet

 Hello my 'spooky' friends!
We have started up our challegne once again at
Two Old Bats Halloween challenge
and would LOVE to have you join us!

We are all about Halloween all year long
allowing you to put all your Halloween goodies to use
ALL year round!

The theme is ALWAYS anything goes Halloween
but we do have a mood board to inspire you to get the old mojo going!
This is a month long challenge so you have plenty of time to play along!

You don't have to use it but if you have some products that
match our board, then why not!!

Well, you can totally see I certainly let the fun mood board inspire ME!

I just happened to have a stamp from Whimsy Stamps that fit right  in.
I have had this stamp for quite some time and it's the first time it has seen ink.
That's what's so fun about this challenge, we get to USE our Halloween year round!

The spider web corner is from Tutti Designs as are the scalloped ovals!

Pitcher Full Of Shamrocks

March 1st...yeah, that means Spring is getting closer and closer
and it also means a start of a new challenge at
Dies R Us!

Even though we are now an anything goes challenge
I am still 'trying' to stay within season
and the first thing March makes me think of is greens and shamrocks
not to mention corned beef and cabbage!

I recently received a fun order from Dies R Us
and included in that order was my cute IO Small Porcelain Pitcher die.
I immediately had to cut it out and being I love vintage,
I also embossed it with my swiss dots embossing folder
to replicate a hobnob pitcher!

I also knew I wanted to fill it with shamrocks.
The die I used is  from Cheapo dies and is Clover Bunch
.
I added tiny tiny shamrocks to the bottom using
Impression Obsession Tiny shamrocks.
This is the cutest die which cuts multiples of shamrocks!

I placed all on a 'tag' base and used a Tutti Designs Circle
for my 'doily' under the pitcher.
