Hi, Diane with you today.
It is lilac time here in Michigan and I have to admit
they are one of my favorites in the Spring.
Notice I said one of, I have a love for most flowers.

I used the new Ken Oliver Watercolored Memories paper
for my background .
This paper is two sided, with a light watercolor,
as I have used on one side and
a darker watercolor on the other.
It is so gorgeous!

I stamped Just Right Lilac Blossoms with Versamark
on Heavyweight Vellum, then sprinkled with
I heat set it, then I
flipped the paper over and colored with my Copics.
The darker, bolder colors work best for this.
Just make sure to color on the reverse side of the stamped image.

I fussy cut it out, which I might add was very easy to do.
Mounted it on Spellbinders Floral Ovals,
which was cut from Pearlized Esse White Metallic paper.
Both the  image and the oval were popped up with

The sentiment is part of the Lilac Blossoms stamp set.
It was stamped with Seedless Preserves Distress Ink.

Lilacs are my favorite flower. They smell so beautiful and I don't ever get to see them where I live now. This is just gorgeous embossed white and then colored. What a GREAT multi-loop bow, too! Thanks for joining us at Craft-Dee BowZ for our May challenge! Hugs, Gail

BEAUTIFUL!! What a great idea to use THAT background paper ... perfect! I lost one of the two lilacs I had last year but the one that survived seems to be happy with the extra room to 'breath' ... it's blooming beautifully ... smells so good coming in my livingroom window! Awesome creation Diane!!

Ooooh, this is sure pretty embossed in white, and what gorgeous paper! Again, those Distress Ink names just draw me in -- Seedless Preserves. I want to buy them all just because of the names! Gorgeous card, Diane!
