Pretty In Pink

Another card I made for Tutti Designs this time using
a beautiful background die 'Rose Frame'
I just love the beauty of this die.

To get the layered look I have die cut the image
with the center part of the die, then just inlaid it
like a puzzle piece....
it makes it look like I die cut the pink card stock too,
but it is actually a full piece underneath,
making it a very easy card.

I added a few flowers and die cut some leaves.

The image is a Nellie's Choice by Sandra Kuck,
it is from a panel called 'little sister'...so sweet!
I purchased several of these a long while back and this is the first
I have used them....I have way too much stash!

What a clever technique - a trick of the eye! I love this card, Diane, and the way you made it look like there were two layers (one filagree and one solid) by die cutting the image! Fabulous tip! OH SO BEAUTIFUL! OMG! I see the C4G Challenge, listed too! Your card is perfect for that challenge, so let me don my other hat:

Always a delight for you to play with us at the Cardz 4 Galz Challenge. We love seeing your paper crafting projects, and are so happy you have joined us! Please check back to see if you have won a badge!

That's the most beautiful frame and image combo. And with the flowers up the side -- wow! Clever way to do the image. Another tip I'll have to remember!

STUNNING and the perfect image! What a beautiful creation and how smart of you to die cut the image to give the illusion of a pink mat behind this gorgeous die cut! That little flower cluster was the perfect embellishment! So sweet!
