Lace Doily

A new challenge begins today at
The Sisterhood of Crafters and our hostess is our sister 'Agata'
and she has chosen the theme 'LACE'!

I used a stamp I have had for a very long time from JustRite Stamps
'Lace Doily Background Stamp'.
This stamp has to be at least 3 to 4 years old (or older), I know I bought it before JustRite quit and then restarted their stamps again.

I embossed it on kraft card stock using Versamark ink
I love how this EB powder shows all the fine detail of the stamp....
just like real lace!

I added flowers from my stash,
die cut a few leaves and berries,
which looked like small lily of the valley to  me for this card.

I used ribbon from the ribbon club at RRR to make my bow,
die cut a butterfly and added a few pearls.

Make sure and 'pop' on over to
to see all the 'pretties' the Design Team have to inspire you!

WOW! That lace doily stamp, embossed in white is gorgeous! Beautiful flowers and butterfly. And the white ribbon and pearls are the perfect accent to the lace. WOW!

Whoa! The white embossed Lace Doily stamp is amazing in its detail, Diane! I've never seen it before. GORGEOUSNESS! Beautiful card with your cluster of pretty sunshiny flowers and textured butterfly. The pearls add the perfect balance on your card. Your pretty satin ribbon is lovey! I know my satin ribbon is very slippery. I never dreamed that the pearls would stick to it. The look so classy and sophisticated! hugs, de

Oh my word! I looked at this card and wondered where the stamp was! That lace stamp in absolutely incredible! It certainly deserved to get some retro love. Kraft was a great choice for a card base as it lets the lace shine out but isn't over sweet. It's a fabulous backdrop for that gorgeous flower cluster. Thanks so much for joining us at Retro Rubber for our Anything Goes challenge.

That is one beautiful background stamp! I always thought JustRite had the prettiest backgrounds. I thought it was a die cut at first. Pretty on the kraft card stock with the soft flowers and butterfly. Also love that extremely pristine white ribbon!
