This is my post on the Sparkle N Sprinkle blog today.
Hi, Diane with you today.
I have used the gorgeous stamp set
'Lovely Magnolia' to make my card with a pull out tag/sentiment.
I die cut a Cheery Lynn Bell doily,
coated it with Versamark embossing ink, then embossed with Magic Speckle embossing powder.
This is a thicker embossing powder, giving a really nice sheen to it.
For the inside of the pullout tag/sentiment,
I added a piece of 1 1/2" tea-ific tape around the top edge
and 2 pieces of 1/2" tear-ific tape at the bottom.
I trimmed the top piece to match the top of the card shape,
then peeled off the paper covering and sprinkled with Reflection glitter.
The sentiment and the small magnolia flower were stamped with Versamark ink
and embossed with the Silver Detail Fine embossing powder.
Here is a look at both pieces.
And here is another look at the finished card.
Thank you for visiting with me today!
Hi, Diane with you today.
I have used the gorgeous stamp set
'Lovely Magnolia' to make my card with a pull out tag/sentiment.
The base of the card is somewhat like an envelope.
I used a heavy patterned paper cut to 8" x 8 1/2".
Line the 8 1/2" side of paper on the bottom of your score board and
score at 2 1/4" and 6 1/4".
Turn paper 90 degrees and score at 2 1/2".
Cut outer 2 1/2" and 2 1/4" panels off (like shown below)
Using a plate, trace an arch as shown, then trim off around traced line.
Fold up, adhere with 1/2" Tear-ific Tape.
It should look something like this when done.
I also cut a band to go around 1 1/2" x 8 1/2" to go around.
I die cut a Cheery Lynn Bell doily,
coated it with Versamark embossing ink, then embossed with Magic Speckle embossing powder.
This is a thicker embossing powder, giving a really nice sheen to it.
I stamped the image with Versamark ink, then embossed with Silver Detail Fine embossing powder.
It was colored in with Copics, then fussy cut out, adhered to the doily
and the band on the front.
I added a pretty little bow to the stem.
For the inside of the pullout tag/sentiment,
I added a piece of 1 1/2" tea-ific tape around the top edge
and 2 pieces of 1/2" tear-ific tape at the bottom.
I trimmed the top piece to match the top of the card shape,

WOW! What a cool design! Just beautiful!!
Your Lovely Magnolia is aptly named and you've made a gorgeous pocket card with it! I'm glad to see someone else is making flower cards in the fall. The EP on the bell doily is amazing! You said before that EP is like magic, and it truly is. So fun to play with!
How beautiful!
