Welcome Baby

It's the first of the month and that means a start of a new challenge at

Our theme is Life Event.
I chose to make a baby card for a boy for a change
as I seem to make so many 'girlie' cards!

I started with a quilted background
which I thought was perfect for a baby!

I next cut the largest of the nesting stars using

I added the word baby using
I used Versamark on the word, then coated it with
Indian Spark embossing powder.
This is one of those EB powders that has glitter in pretty!

Since I seem to have a love for little 'ellies',
I chose to use Tonic Studios Elephants for my focal point!

To make it have a bit more 'celebration', I added a banner using

Now pop on over to the Dies R Us challenge blog
and see all the beautiful creations my teamies have for you,
and why not join in with us there as well
for your chance to win a gift certificate to the DRU STORE!!!
